Backstage, we see Jericho and Owens talking to each other about the match between Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship. Jericho tells Owens that Foley had refused to cancel the match. Thus, Owens asked Jericho for his help and Jericho tells him that he had been through a lot the past few days.
Owens reminds him that they wouldn’t be able to main event Wrestlemania if Owens lost his championship. Jericho somewhat agrees to help Owens out. Hence, Kevin Owens makes his entrance, accompanied by Chris Jericho. Jericho takes up a seat at the commentary table.
Braun Strowman makes his entrance and immediately neutralizes Jericho at the commentary table with a huge chokeslam on the announce table and makes his way to the ring. As soon as the match begins, Kevin Owens leaves the ring. He then runs around and tries to outsmart Braun Strowman by punching Strowman as he tries to get in the ring behind Owens.
Strowman quickly gets into the ring and knocks Owens down with a big clothesline. He continues to pound him down with repeated Clotheslines to the corner. Owens slides out of the ring again. Strowman follows him there and Body-blasts him to the barricade.
Owens connects with a Running Senton and a Frog Splash on Strowman. He then pins Strowman but Strowman kicks out. Owens kicks Strowman in the head once again and goes to the top rope but Strowman counters with a Running power slam. Roman Reigns’ music hits and he makes his way out to the ring.

Reigns connect with a Superman punch right off the bat. The match is ended in a disqualification victory for Strowman, but the title change obviously doesn’t take place. Strowman is irate but Reigns continues to beat him down. He eventually hits Strowman with a spear at ringside. Reigns then get into the ring and spears Kevin Owens as well.
