After all the rumors have buzzed on the internet about the Deadman Undertaker’s return to the Raw, he appeared on today’s Monday Night Raw in the city where he lost his Wrestlemania streak. It has been almost three years at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana where the Phenom was pinned by Brock Lesnar to become 21-1.
It seemed that he is returning to the city with a bigger announcement. Reaching the expectations, he announced his return to the Royal Rumble match after a long time. To make the 30th anniversary of the event even bigger he will enter the prestigious 30 man elimination match to get back into the main event picture at Wrestlemania.
Officially, the Deadman will mark his return to in-ring action on January 29th, but he showed a preview of things to come after the cameras stopped rolling. The Undertaker was reserved in a special capacity for the fans in attendance in a special treat.
After Chris Jericho winning the United States title for the first time and celebrating it with his best friend Owens, the lights went dark and all of a sudden, the Undertaker gets into the arena. When the lights came back, the crowd witnessed the Undertaker standing in front of Jeri-KO.
Both the friends grabbed the mic to talk some trash as KO said that the Phenom was in no mood to listen to all of that and went right after the best friends. Owens pushed Jericho into the Undertaker’s hand to eat a massive chokeslam. He eventually asked Undertaker to shake his hands but Undertaker hit KO with another chokeslam.
